3" to 4" (75-100mm) Blockage Removal Kit (PVC) - NO DRILL HEAD

This kit is designed to clear blockages in PVC pipes ranging from 3” to 4” (75mm -100mm) and includes a flexible drain cleaning shaft.

To accommodate clients who prefer a less abrasive approach on pipe elbows, we have included chains without a drill head.

The flexible drain cleaning shaft and chain combination can easily tackle stubborn blockages, such as root intrusion, cement, and heavy scale, which might challenge high pressure jetting machines. It efficiently grinds these materials into manageable chunks, preventing further blockages down the line.

The tools are lightweight and compact, offering the advantage of easy transport, even in elevators, making them ideal for dealing with blockages in high-rise buildings without the fear of causing damage to someone's property.

Setting up is quick and hassle-free; you simply need to attach the kit to your drill, and you're ready to go.

These chains are specifically designed for use in PVC (ABS) pipes, but they can also be employed in cast iron and vitrified clay pipes. While not as effective as chains with hard metal bits, they still get the job done.

The kit includes:

A flexible drain cleaning shaft complete with sleeve and friction rings.

A drill to Shaft Adapter.

Two Plain Chains (with NO drill head) - one for DN75 (3") pipes and the other for DN100 (4") pipes.

For toilet blockages, the kit proves particularly useful as the flexible shaft is covered with a chemical and heat-resistant sleeve, ensuring no damage to porcelain, thereby eliminating the need to remove a toilet pan.

Apart from blockage removal, the tool excels at descaling pipes, making the process of removing lime scale buildup faster and more effective than using a jetting machine, reducing the chances of encountering large broken up chunks of scale blocking the pipe further down the line.

The tools are designed with three individual chains that utilize centrifugal force to center the tool inside the pipe, ensuring thorough cleaning of the entire inner circumference of the pipe.

The drain chains are adjustable, allowing you to clean a wider range of pipe diameters with the same chain by adjusting the space between the hubs that secure the chain to the shaft.

Made from stainless steel to prevent oxidation, the sewer cleaning chains are fastened to the shaft with hex screws, allowing for quick and easy repairs in case of a kinked shaft.

Choosing the right shaft thickness depends on the number of bends you need to pass through. Thinner shafts can navigate through more bends, while thicker ones deliver more torque. The 6mm shaft is suitable for 50mm (2") pipes and is more focused on blockage removal than descaling. The 8mm shaft is the second most flexible and is ideal for pipes with a diameter of 75mm (3") to 100mm (4"). The 10mm shaft is less flexible but can handle pipes from 75mm (3") to 150mm (6") effectively with a good amount of torque. The 12mm shaft is the most rigid and is perfect for descaling and blockage removal in lines ranging from 100mm (4") to 250mm (10").

The shafts might experience some shrinkage at the ends during initial use, which is normal due to the stresses they encounter. This can be easily rectified by cutting off the shrunken section with an angle grinder and reconnecting the chains and drill.
